About Placement Cell

The Placement Cell, under the Education Department, Government of Gujarat, is established to strengthen and facilitate the campus recruitment and placement ecosystem across Government and Grant-in-Aid Higher & Technical institutions in the State.

The Placement Cell serves as a coordinating platform connecting students, educational institutions and industries to create wider employment opportunities for students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. It works in collaboration with participating institutes, Training and Placement Officers (TPOs), faculty coordinators and recruiting organizations to facilitate a structured, transparent and efficient campus recruitment process.

The Placement Cell coordinates with industries and organizations for recruitment drives, campus interviews, job fairs and other placement activities, enabling students to access employment opportunities across diverse sectors and locations. It also supports institutions in planning and conducting placement activities and in establishing stronger linkages with prospective employers.
